Enajst let mi je bilo, hodila sem v četrti razred osnovne
šole, ko je David Bowie zapel Let's Dance in China Girl, s katerima me je
privabil v svoj krog začarancev. Istega leta sem se zaljubila v njemu
neverjetno podobnega M. E., zaljubljenost, ki je trajala vse do konca srednje
šole (če ne dlje ...). Tako vedno, ko pomislim na domači
kraj, avtomatično pomislim na M. E. in na raznobarvnookega Bowieja. Ljubezen,
ki traja, ljubezen, ki ima sicer svoj začetek, a konca prav gotovo ne. In če se
še tisočkrat utrne kot črna zvezda, bo večno žarel enako močno sredi še tako temnega neba.
